"On September 28, 2022, hurricane Ian’s winds blew a 5’ NuImage awning off my small concrete house in Punta Gorda, FL. The winds were strong enough to topple a very large tree nearby. After 6 weeks the awning was found intact at the bottom of a tidal creek over 120 feet away. While there was a lot of damage to trees, structures and roofs, the awning was just wet and dirty.
